About

Abu Ahmad is a seasoned Sunni preacher based in Ibadan, with over 20 years of experience in Da'wah, Islamic education, and counselling.

By Allah’s grace, he has delivered public lectures, organized and participated in Islamic conferences, presented on radio programs, and taught Muslims at various levels on the correct Islamic creed, jurisprudence, the fundamentals of Islamic law, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and many other areas of Islamic knowledge.

His educational journey began at a very young age, as he studied under several renowned scholars both within and outside Ibadan. His thirst for knowledge continues as he seeks to deepen his understanding and share it with the broader community.

Since 2021, he has been the Director of Deensavvy Academy (UK-Nigeria), where he is instrumental in shaping the institution’s Islamic curriculum and fostering academic excellence. He is also the presenter of Hayya ala-l-Falaah, a popular Islamic radio program in Ibadan, a role he has held since 2014.

Imam Sulaiman is also the Director of Academics and Islamic Affairs at Independence Academy in Ibadan, a position he has held since 2009. His dedication to teaching and nurturing the next generation of Muslims is evident through his active involvement in academics and Islamic affairs.

As a Khateeb, Abu Ahmad has served at Masjid-us-Salām in Ibadan since 2024, and prior to that, he was the Khateeb at Masjid-us-Sahaabah in Akobo, Ibadan, from 2010 to 2024. His leadership and insightful sermons have had a profound impact on the spiritual lives of his community.

In addition to his community roles, Abu Ahmad’s leadership experience extends to his time as the 2005/2006 Ameer of the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria, Kano State, as well as the Naaibu-l-Ameer for the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria, North-Western Zone in the same year. He was also the 2003/2004 Ameer for the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria at the University of Ilorin.

He remains dedicated to imparting knowledge, guiding the community, and nurturing the growth of Islam in all aspects of life. His devotion to the Deen, his commitment to education, and his leadership continue to inspire many.
